Donating to Literacy Source

Your tax-deductible donation to Literacy Source helps adult learners work towards literacy, language skills, citizenship, better jobs, and better lives through free classroom and tutor instruction.

Literacy Source is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation registered in the State of Washington. Literacy Source’s work is possible thanks to generous donations from many sources. Contributions from corporations, government agencies, private foundations, small businesses, and individuals make our successes a reality. We are grateful for all our donors and invite you to join them in supporting Literacy Source in whatever way you can.

DONATE A VEHICLE

We partner with Careasy for vehicle donations. To begin the free process contact them here Donate A Car To A Nonprofit They will notify us that a donation is in process, they’ll pick up your vehicle, and send us a donation for the value of the vehicle.

WORKPLACE GIVING - MATCHING EMPLOYERS

Did you know that many companies allow you to donate to charitable organizations through your paycheck? Some count your volunteer hours and give a donation for your time, and many will even double your donation to Literacy Source by matching your contribution dollar for dollar. When combined with your donation, these gifts make a huge impact.

To find out if your workplace matches, contact your company’s personnel, human resources, or community relations department to see if they have a matching gift program.

BECOME A BUSINESS SPONSOR

Our business sponsors are respected and valued by our Literacy Source Community. With their support we offset the cost of our fundraising event allowing donations to go toward our programming.

We offer different marketing opportunities based on sponsorship amounts.

MAKE A TRIBUTE GIFT

GIFT OF STOCK

Donating your stock or securities is an excellent way to support our mission while providing you with potential tax benefits. GIVE THROUGH A DONOR ADVISED FUND
